Vacation house, Suhovare, Zadar countyx
Design:2018
Family holiday house with one residential unit. Located on a rectangular, almost flat building plot, in the peripheral zone of the village of Suhovare in the Zadar hinterland. The plot is in direct contact with a public road along its southeastern, longer edge.
The building is functionally divided into a daily life on the ground floor and night life on the first floor. It is structurally divided into a north-eastern half with elements of traditional mediterranean architecture, with window shutters for sun protection and a sloping roof covered with a canal roofing tiles, and a south-western half with a modern design in the form of a smaller, retracted cube, coated in stone and a larger, upper one, with bedroom, bathroom and uncovered terrace. The upper volume on the south-western edge rests on 2 steel circular pillars, which ensures a ground-floor covered terrace next to the dining room and oriented to the pool.
